Kidsgrove Swimming Baths Open 17th November

Kidsgrove Swimming Baths almost ready for the first users. Notice the new ceiling that has replaced the old one at the cost of £200,000.
I can announce that Kidsgrove Swimming Baths will be officially reopened on Saturday 17th November. Primary schools are using the Pool from today. All works have now been completed and the sports centre will be running at full operational level by the end of next week.
After months of waiting residents can finally breathe a sigh of relief to know their sports centre is here for the future. Many thanks go to Staff at Clough Hall School, Newcastle Borough Council and Staffordshire County Council.
The Swimming Pool ceiling has now been replaced adding a lighter, more modern look to the pool. Tiling works have also been done on the pool so we are looking at a significant improvement for Kidsgrove residents on a whole. It is believed that the open day on Saturday 17th November will offer a range of free activities and classes for the community. I will provide more information as soon as I have it.
Regards
Cllr Kyle Robinson
