The Butt Lane Coffee Shop

Kidsgrove Deputy Mayor, Kyle Robinson presents a £100 cheque to Peggy Stevens at The Butt Lane Coffee Shop.
Volunteers at the Butt Lane Baptist Church have been running their own Coffee shop for years. People from all across Kidsgrove visit the Coffee shop throughout the year to enjoy Tea, Coffee, Home Cooking and much more. The volunteers also regularly invite local artists to display their works in the Baptist church so that people visiting can enjoy the works.
The Butt Lane Coffee Shop is located in the Church Hall at the Butt lane Baptist Church, Church Street. It’s open on Wednesdays every week 10am-3pm. Please make a visit and I promise you will become a regular. The team would like to meet you no matter what your religion or beliefs.
I recently donated £100 to the Coffee Shop from my Mayor’s Charity fund to say thank you to the volunteers for their excellent work. Peggy Stevens in the photograph also received a good citizen’s award from Kidsgrove Town Council in May 2012 for all of her good work.
Thank you
Kyle
