The Potteries Guinea Pig Rescue is a small, caring rescue based in Kidsgrove. The rescue is run by Helen Chadwick & Claire Love with the help of a team of volunteers and foster carers.

Rescue leader Helen Chadwick said:

“Our aim is to take in neglected and mistreated Guinea Pigs and find them loving forever homes through our caring adoption process.

We offer free advice to owners and often have lovely Guinea Pigs available for adoption. We rely on public donations to fund our work and have always been very grateful for the support and promotion we have received from Kyle and local councillors.  Over the course of a year we attend various events to fundraise and promote our rescue, our favourite event each year is the Kidsgrove Victorian Fair in December, this year was our most successful and we rose over £250. This was to help pay vet bills and run the rescue during the winter period.

If you are interested in adoption or just finding out more about our rescue then please visit our brilliant web site  We are also looking for fundraising events to attend this year, so if you know of one who would welcome our stall and Guinea Pig road show then please get in touch.”
