Kidsgrove 1920’s Ball raises £700
On Saturday 26th April, Kidsgrove Town Council held the annual Kidsgrove Mayor’s charity ball. I chose the 1920’s theme after seeing a remake of The Great Gatsby film at the cinema. I would personally like to thank all those that attended to make the evening so successful. Some of the costumes were very authentic. I thought it would be good to list those people and businesses that contributed to the raffle so I have attached the programme of the evening, click link: Mayors Ball 2014
Almost £700 was raised for Staffordshire Sands and other charities. It has been an honour and a pleasure to work with many local charities over the last 3 years. I hope the new Town Mayor has just as much fun as I have had organising some of these events for a good cause. Its such a good feeling to know the work we do has helped us to reach out to so many people in the community with many different needs.
